A New Consciousness Through transformation

Doctrine

On God

  • We believe in God and that God is Spirit, the giver of life, the source of love and being. We believe that God who is the essence of life, resides in us, to work through us, in us and for us.
  • We believe that the worship of God must be centered in Spirit, thereby calling us to look inward and not outward in our engagement with Him in our lives.
  • We believe that God is neither male nor female in gender but Spirit that gives life to our spirit.
  • We believe that God takes on Fatherly and Motherly roles in our lives.
  • We believe that we take on the image of God as spiritual being and our physical manifestation is evidence of God’s existence.
  • We believe that God cannot be named by humans nor be defined. God is limitless, boundless and infinite. God is the energy of the universe and the I AM of our identity.

On Jesus

  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God formed and fashioned in the Spirit to be the guiding light to God’s consciousness. “I am the truth the way and the life.”
  • We believe that Jesus came to change the way we think and our understanding of God and to reveal to us our Divinity.
  • We believe that anyone who lives in Christ’s consciousness is born again in Spirit. “To all who receive Him, to those who believe in His Name, he gave right to become children of God.” John 1: 12. The old way of life gives way to the new.
  • We believe that Jesus came to set us free from mental and ungodly slavery of worldly attachments as sources of hope, joy, peace and happiness. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
  • We believe that God gave Him power and authority and through Him we share in the promise of God.
  • We believe that He was born of Mary as a virgin birth to lead humanity to God’s consciousness. “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
  • We believe that Jesus came that we might have life (a new life, spiritual life, a full life) and to have this life abundantly. John 10:10

On Self

  • We believe that we are God’s expression of love and a true manifestation of His spirit.
  • We are made in God’s image (Spirit) to reflect and express all the attributes of God in thoughts, words and in deeds.
  • If God’s spirit is indestructible, we too who possess the same spirit are indestructible. “For you have been born again, not with perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” 1 Peter 1:23
  • We are the absolute self, equipped with all the gifts of the spirit and power to take total control and ownership of our own destiny.
  • We are not of this earthly world. “As it is, you do not belong to the world...” John 15:19
  • We are an embodiment of God who is love, peace, happiness, joy, spirit-power and strength.

On Divine Consciousness

We believe that there are two forces at play in our lives; the EGO Consciousness and GOD’S Consciousness. God’s consciousness calls us to live in constant awareness of His presence in us, to depend on God’s power and might in us and to believe that greater is God’s spirit in us than anything around us. “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1John 4:4. EGO consciousness is depending on our human cultivated intelligence by “Erasing God Out.” It is the consciousness born out of things of the world and life centered on worldly things and governed by worldly things, directed and controlled by earthly attachments. “Trust in God with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.” Proverbs 3:5, 6

On Transformation

We believe that spiritual transformation is a prerequisite to spiritual empowerment and spiritual living. It starts with the willingness of the individual to change from within so that all outward expressions are reflective of one who is a new creation in Jesus Christ. “……Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2. Spiritual transformation continues with the constant awareness that we are spirits therefore must live by the Spirit, love unconditionally; worship God in Spirit and in truth. “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the spirit.” Galatians 5:25

On Denomination

  • We believe that denomination is not a pathway to salvation but Jesus Christ is.
  • We are a Body of believers in Jesus Christ, Christians with a catholic mandate: meaning that the word of God has no boundaries, and transcends all racial, religion, geographic and ethnic lines. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations…..” Matthew 28:19
  • Our catholicity is a mission and a responsibility and not a denominational identity. We have no affiliation with any religious denomination. We are Christians and co-workers with God for the spiritual transformation and empowerment of lives and of communities. “For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:9.
